The Principal shall meet students from AE 1-10 on Monday 9th August 2010
during PS Block 1 and 5
to brief them on SCHOOL VALUES and the ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT TARGET for 2010

ALHAMDULILLAH
Thursday 5th August, we received news of promotion for three of our staff members.
Our DP Academic, Cg Joanna Lim is promoted to as Principal for SMPIHM Serasa,
Cg Hjh Amal our SM Building is promoted to DP at PTE Katok,
Cg Hj Juma'ata, our former SM CCA, is our new DP Academic.

as the Principal briefed the three regarding their promotion,
I had the chance to grab my Nikon :)

Cg Joanna Lim Jok Hon joined MD in year 2000, as Lecturer in the Geography Department, later a member of the Student Affairs Section and was appointed Senior Master Academic before she became Deputy Principal.

Cg Hjh Amal joined MD in year 2005, as a Lecturer in the History Department. Was Head of Examinations before appointed as SM Building. Cg Hjh Amal is one of the three MD SLP Team.

Our Gratitude and Appreciation to both Cg Joanna and Cg Amal for their service and support to Maktab Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah. All the best with their future endeavours.

CONGRATULATIONS to all of them :)

Academic Team

In our effort to ensure our RASI is done accordingly, The Principal sits with The Academic Committee to discuss the strategies to further improve the target increase in academic achievement.

End of SLP Workshop

On Monday 2nd August, we had 7 members of staff participating in workshop 1 & 2. While the remaining 11 joined in to complete workshop 2. With that, Maktab Duli has completed the Cascading SLP workshops for all 105 Teachers.

The remaining staff members who missed Workshop 1 and/or 2 shall join us later this afternoon at the Conference room for the 'really final' cascading workshops.

Time : 1.30 pm conference room.

This final workshop was participated by 12 'A' Team Facilitators and 70 Teachers
The teachers were grouped into 6 teams for the team building exercise facilitated by 6 'A' team members.

Mentoring of Teachers and Students was mentioned as one of the strategies
She emphasised that one of the ways for her to know her teachers well
is through their teaching in the classroom.

Hence she goes in to observe teacher's lesson very regularly since she joined us at Maktab Duli
(and yes, thats a lot of hard work,
apart from the daily admin duties)

Apart from the need for 'Transformational Leadership' through SLP
She also emphasised on 'Instructional Leadership'
